AMG LOGO - The Meaning The D.A.P. Dignity and Pride

There’s nothing more binding between Men than a Gentleman’s Agreement which is often sealed with a simple handshake, but at AMG, we elevate that tradition with the DAP.

Here’s what our AMG Logo represents:

  • 1. Atlanta Skyline: A proud tribute to our city.
  • 2. The DAP Handshake: This unique greeting, commonly recognized as a fist bump or distinctive handshake that embodies solidarity, dignity, and pride.

"The acronym DAP stands for Dignity And Pride, originating from Black soldiers during the Vietnam War as a gesture of mutual support and Black consciousness."

Connected by a Proud Heritage and guided by Our Charter.

AMG Logo

Dignity, Pride, and Strength

"Today, it has been embraced across various cultures as a friendly gesture that symbolizes camaraderie and shared connections. At AMG, we hold this symbol as a true reflection of our identity."

A Special Tribute

Our Why

A Tribute to YOU — Fellow Atlanta Men Who Carry More Than Meets the Eye.

On November 19th, 2025, we celebrated International Men’s Day, a moment to honor the strength, resilience, vulnerability, and silent battles that men face in our families, communities, and nations.

On November 20th, 2025, this Group was born.

AMG Gathering
Silent Battles

So much of what MEN carry goes unnoticed by the world:

  • The pressure to provide.
  • The fear of failure.
  • The unspoken traumas of childhood.
  • The silent expectations to "be strong."
  • The emotional burdens they’ve never felt allowed to express.

Today, we want to make it abundantly clear:

1. Strength does not mean the absence of struggle.

2. True masculinity embraces emotional expression.

3. Healing is a sign of strength, not weakness.

As MEN, we deserve:

  • 1. Safe spaces.
  • 2. Healthy mentorship.
  • 3. Emotional support.
  • 4. The freedom to express ourselves.
  • 5. Encouragement to heal.
  • 6. Opportunities for growth.
  • 7. The grace to evolve.

To YOU reading this:

Your life holds immense value.

Your identity is significant.

Your potential is bigger than your past.

God’s purpose for you still stands unchanged and unstoppable.

Brotherhood 1
Brotherhood 2

Let’s raise a generation of men defined not by trauma or societal pressures, but by godly character, emotional intelligence, integrity, and purpose.

If you’re a man dealing with unprocessed emotions, identity struggles, stress, or relationship challenges, we shall find coaching sessions that create a confidential and holistic space for healing, growth, and transformation for you to heal, build and rise.

"Let’s stand firm and united in our purpose as we honor all the men who are rising, rebuilding, and redefining strength. This journey is for us, by us. Let's take pride in this significant step forward."
